Welcome To The New Gallery

The pictures herein have been arranged and grouped in a few different ways. Most interior images from the various volumes have been placed in the order they appear in the book. Cover images have been grouped together, as have many of the illustrative character portraits. The illustrator, if known, is listed in the description.

Some of the captions are humorous, or are meant to be. Some of the illustrations do not do justice to the subject, and are treated accordingly. All comments belong to me, unless they don't, and then they're someone else's.

Feel free to copy any or all of the pictures herein to your own webspace and may you have much joy with them. Bear in mind that hotlinking has been disabled, so the only way you can display a picture here to your Livejournal or MySpace page is to host it on your own site.

If you identify any illustrators that are unknown, please feel free to email me and I will correct it. If you know of or have any illustrations that I do not, email me on that, too, and you will be acknowledged. Remember that this database of illustrations if meant to be used as a resource, for both the book and for historical record.
